Im interested in this show maybe bcz I sometimes climb deadly mountains all seasons here as a hobby

the most mysterious episode I ve ever seen.. a couple of theories came up my mind .. but number of clues is too limited (,as always) I can never understand what the hell is going on I mean, wtf is going on ?
1. detnating H bomb was supposed to mean Game Over right ? I assumed they ended up fail , but they did it lol what the hell
2. I knew jacob needed help but what for ? to prevent vengence from the guy with black hair ? anyway jacob got burned like a noob..

well, faraday said if they detonated the bomb, everything would be put right. In the flashes earlier this season, he said that whatever they did wouldn't change shit right? Well detonating the H-bomb at the islands electromagnetic source would prevent the need of the button/ 4,8,15,16,23,42/they never would of crashed, they would of landed in LA. Essentially, all of what of happened would of been a dream, probably not even that. Kate would go to jail like she would of, Jack would of buried his father, and Desmond would of never crashed on the island when he went on his race across the world by boat.

Jacob's nemesis(shown in the flashback in pt 1) said he'd be looking for a loophole, and he found one. Locke dying and being brought back to the island and then being copied somehow by jacob's nemesis fooled Ben into killing Jacob, I should say he took advantage of Ben's past.

Remember when Jacob disappeared, Jack's father took his place? Well Jack's father was dead too when he arrived at the island. I think Jacob's un-named nemesis copied Jack's father and lied to Locke when he first told him that he could speak for Jacob, hence gaining Locke's trust. So he fooled Locke into leaving the island, and then he predicted that either Ben will kill Locke off the island, or that Locke would commit suicide like he almost did. When brought back to the island, Jacob's nemesis finally had control over a body, or copied body, whatever. Get where this all leads?

about jacob, yea I imagined that plot too as a most reasonable answer, according to that plot jacob who showed up in the past of kate, jack, locke and so on was the nemesis planning to avenge manipulating their life or something , but how about that jacob who aked help to the injured woman who seemed to work for jacob side bringing locke''s dead body.
and why the nemesis had to fake his body looking like jacob''s when any one of flight 815 guys dont know who are jacob and his nemesis..

perhaps Jacob's nemesis's body had died, and that he remained alive only on the island, and that he a new body to take shape and do his bidding? Maybe they are brother's or twins and can't kill each other? Sounds like something from Lord of the Flies. I'm not sure about the rest.

Totally. I read the whole Dark Tower series by Stephen King, and the end of his series was somewhat following the path that this show is starting to take. If you ever have the time to spend a summer reading, read that series.

Damon and Carlton (the writers) are deeply influenced by King, and I'm pretty sure the end of Lost will be as well. After Lost I so hope they will take advantage of the fact they and J.J. Abrams have the rights to make a film adaptation of The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King.

Hopefully we'll see an HBO series or mini-series like The Stand was!
