It seriously only takes one second for things to change this tragically. I post this in hopes of sending a message to my young friends about the importance of taking driving seriously. This poor bastard never knew what happened. He died instantly, luckily only killing himself. It could very easily have been a car with a family in it that he hit. Nobody should ever have to identify somebody that they love in a condition like this.

Whose to say he was actually texting on their cellphone. It very well coulda been a suicide.... we had something similar happen here in Az. just after they opened up the 101. A man and a woman crossed over the median and hit head on into a semi tractor trailer. They ruled it a Murder/Suicide. The accident prompted the Governor to make mandatory the installation of wire crossing barriers to prevent vehicles from crossing the median. whether accidental or intentional.
