Major Changes to =GW= !!

As everyone has probably noticed, Pyedog and soldier and all4 have left =GW= and started their own clan, .db.. We are now (fairly) few and I think it's best for us to stay that way. Other than the guys Dark chooses from =tKe=, we are going to be VERY selective about any further recruits. As of this moment I think the maturity level of =GW= is as it should be, no more children will be accepted. Here very soon, we will be getting another server, probably in the west coast area (anyone wanting a gun server, as well, let me know)
I will try to be on xfire and vent as much as possible, more likely vent...and there will be a section for people actually gaming and the ones that just wanna bs while they multi task er some shit. Please try to have a working mic and drop into vent to say hello when you can. We're all old friends around here anymore, so let's not lose touch ehh!?!

Yeah!? Well that's righteous M3phist, we need to get a list of our remaining active members -I'll post a new topic now- and we'll see what size and location we should aim for. I'm thinking west coast is probably going to be our best bet....except for da erbal man in florida and deathrage in tennessee....

Actually, the servers were shut down by EA. We are working on getting donations to get the east and west servers back up. Atleast I have the admin list backed up so we wont have to recreate that.

I know I am no longer in the clan, but if I may make a suggestion. I would suggest that you close the recruitment section and stick to recruiting personally so you can keep the clan "oldschool" like you said. Then if someone wants to join they can make it known to you personally or one of the other heads. And if you want someone, you can actively seek them out.

alright, that was a little harsh calling it a joke. which ever servers get back up we have to make sure that knife is not in the name. people know who gw, klrs, etc are for the most part, so putting gw knife house for a server name is redundant.

soldier, with donations to a server... if the server is shut down for ea rule violations, then do you lose the money that was donated too? Say like if you had 4 months of running the server in donations, is all that money gone?

We recently set up a paypal for BsB. The money will stay in there until we pay for a server. So the only way we could lose that money is if they seized our paypal. So the only money lost was mine and aesirs because we did not get the full months worth use of a server. We also keep track of who donated what, because when a clan donated however much a server costs a month, we add by (clan name) at the end of the server. If you noticed the last month they were up one server said by =]BA[= and the other said by =GW=. We are also looking into a way to privatly rank the servers, so that the servers will upload stats to bsbknife.com. If we are able to get this working we can leave the servers unranked while all the knifers will be able to see their ranking against other knifers. Then the servers will not be shut down, while knifers are still able to compare their score per minutes, k/d ratios, total score, ect, ect.

Providers report the servers to ea....Just change the name before you enter a support ticket, and you won't get shut down.

Needs some extra code and would need a website with mySQL and PHP, but that should be the easy part. Also would mean running the server 'unranked' but the whole point is to use a diff stats server

Nice to finally see a merge between =GW= and =TKE= Maybe wearing =GW-TKE= tags put good karma on it.
