More idiotic than saying there is no skill involved in aion? I was simply pointing out that him bringing fps into this was stupid because i can bring sports into it. I know it's dumb to bring sports into the conversation, but it's dumb to bring fps in also.

MMORPG, does not require high dexterity. Of course, you still have to button mash fast enough and move ur mouse to click fast enough.. but there is no aiming.
The skill required by it is very very low, a level which everyone can do f.o.b(ox).


FPS on the otherhand requires you to move to the right place at the right time, and then beable to aim. Not only that but you also have to time your shots. And even during the shot you have to control the way your firing (i.e. burst/spay/downward spray/w/e)

It is very very very obvious that FPS takes far more skill than ANY MMORPG.

Skill isn't something that you can give to someone else.

If I am pro @ wow I can stand behind a noob and tell him to click this, pres that. And he would do everything that I am doing

If I am pro @ bf2142 knifing I can tell a noob to run forward, now dive, now turn around 174.32 degrees and swing , and move the soldier mid swing to accommodate for the enemy's position. And trust me, he wont be the exact replica of you.

WoW certainly does require SOME DEGREE of skill, just like EVERYTHING in life if you want to put it that way. The fact that we move our body generates skill already. Even walking takes skill a low level of skill, skill nonetheless.

In MMORPG, you just have to click the enemy. the enemy is already on your screen. You see it, how hard is it to move ur mouse and click it? Anybody that can click the start button in Windows can master that skill already.

okay I haven't gotten that far in but...this game is amazing. The concept is just so awesome, and the lore (story behind the game) is fantastic. The character design was mindblowingly awesome. I was able to make my character look like Paprika + huge tits, what else is there in life? GET IT!
