you know nobody really uses more than 1.5GB ?
Thats why 2GB is perfect.

and whyd u get the 9800GTX/+ ?
The 4850 is a bit faster and cheaper.

Should play far cry 2 , Acreed, Crysis, and all those high graphic games.

mine is 9800gtx+ too and I can barely enjoy Farcry2 by middle-upper resolution.. hope I get a new card at good timing

about memory I use 6GB for video/music editing. u know wat, core i (or any other good cpu) with 6gb memory encode things unbelievably fast than one I used to have.

whats helping it is the new ram's speed. Which is DDR3-1333mhz?
DDR2 only goes up to 1066mhz.

You can get the core i5/i7 with 3GB DDR3 ram and it would do just as good.

Although it would be a good idea to get 6GB if your planning on using 64bit windows.

i need the ram becuase i do high res art for my parents business like anywere from 4800x4800 to art for wraping cars

yeah trust me. 3GB is plentiful.

crysis takes lest than 1GB ram.

only reason why you'd need that much is if your hosting a server. Like a WoW server or a bf2142 server.

But anyways it cant hurt to have more. At least your future proof heh
