| "The worldwide online gaming market is rapidly growing, and with more gaming customers come more customer requests, demands and needs. Alienware works to stay ahead of the curve and Bigfoot Networks helps us do this," said Frank Azor, senior vice president and general manager, Alienware. "The Bigfoot Networks' Killer Xeno gives us the proven technology needed to guarantee customers' ultimate online gaming experience."

U should grow up Because, you know, Alienware isn't a sub-depository of Dell which makes their overpriced (largely overpriced, even more so than the 22% markup price on XPS systems [standard new]) 30-40% markup pc's to kids who think that having a logo on the side of their e-1337 gamin rig will make it faster. People who consciously bought Alienware are ricer kids who have paid a vast amount extra just for the name and status (hence, they are the less sophisticated, LED weilding brothers of Mac buyers). I'm not saying a re-rigged networking stack won't help you with your connection, but the product is largely unnecessary on a personal pc level, hence the technology is used by server depositories. | |

| the difference it makes is INCOMPARABLE to the difference your internet connection makes.
Furthermore, because the difference is so small, a slight server change would render the card useless. That might even be too much.
Heck, if your experiencing lag right now adding a network card WOULD NOT change it. Yes in theory it manages the connection better but the changes are so minor that human wont notice it.
This is just like the
120hz and 240hz LCD TV's being sold nowadays.
120hz would be enough to make any actions smooth for a human eye, yet 240hz TV's are being introduced. Why? $$$$$$$$ |
