I'm not suprised for the first match up, Sphinx is a very intelligent knifer and looks into peoples strength's and usually finds a way to counter them. He very well could win the tournament Cool

Thought it might have been alittle closer, but like I said if Sphinx knows your style your in trouble.

The second match up suprised me the most.. I guess pye was probably under pressure to win or something. But who cares it's just a tournament there will probably be another chance for him in month or two if bright continues to host them(which I suggest because he is good at organizing them).

I am probably one of the select few who didn't sign up. I ment to help out and ref but it looks like it's taken care of. As for the rematch idea, like bright said it can't be done. It is unfair to other match ups if 4 people get to rematch because they didn't do their best.

Pye was lagging really bad. He was even dropping out on vent. But it was his responsibility to postpone the duel to a later time before it started.

Having high ping and sucking doesn't mean you will be any better with low ping.

Low ping would definetely make you better lol.. first of all ti would take out at least 50% of my rubbers in a game, and take out about 80% of my lag.

Yes, it would take time to get used to a low ping, but in general it is DEFINETELY better than high ping. u can ask ANYONE on that.

And we aren't bragging, we are just stating that we have high pings and we don't complain if we get lots of lag and stuff...

rubber may be interelated with ping but it doesn't prove your point.

I know a knifer called venemous_v2(he has many names) but he is a knifer from e.u. , playing in na severs he gets around 150ping. Despite that, he can still kick everyones ass. If that rubber was such a problem for you, why isn't it for venomous_v2?

To further prove this, I used to play with a clan called WC. Some of their members had pings around 10.(yeah ten, no typo) yet they still get rubber.

Yes ping does make a differenc but it's not the cause of your rubber. The reason why your missing so much(or as most would prefer to hear "hit but no kill" ) is because of your failure cope with the overall latency.
If you have 200 ping and thus longer response time, that doesn't only apply to you swinging your knife, it applies to every move you make. If you can run around smoothly then the same must b for when you knife.
Most people like to think that the ping only happends to magically fuck them up right when they swing -.-

Btw, my 200 ping is me walking then teleporting back and walk again... I highly doubt you play like that..
