The Last Supper (rather, something else)

I'll keep this short and sweet.

Many of you have noticed my recent "AFK-ness" from the Battlefield world. I hope. Many of you have also noticed that I have began to play StarCraft again. I just popped in the CD a few nights ago, and man, do I miss that game. But the point of this post is not about that game. It is about me and the Battlefield world.

I am going to say this in one fell swoop: I'm done with Battlefield 2142, done with this game, and will never, ever play it unless you guys offer a world-changing persuasion for a practice; scrimmage; or event. I will still be on Xfire; I will visit this forum; I will still be the normal person I am, just no more Battlefield for me.

Reason? It's boring for me. There is no fun in it. Playing with a knife was fun for the first two years, but not anymore. Shooting at people was fun for the first few weeks, and fun for a few rounds, but alas, all things come to an end.

And for me, this comes to an end. I hope to be an important part of the =GW= clan, and hope to retain my Xfire clan-status so I can be remembered by, not just ShadowSniper8, but as a =GW= ShadowSniper8. If you ever need me, you know where to catch me, and if you need me for practices and such, you know how to do it.

I congratulate Darkne55 on his victory, and I'll see many of you, Piedog and CartoonPorn hopefully, in Battlefield 3, or even Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2, and this is the end. One less opponent for your knifing game, one less player in the knife-mode of 2142. #45 on the scoreboards was a sweet achievement, but making that sweeter is the whole kindness, friendliness, and "brotherly-love" that the =GW= clan and 2142 Knife World have shown me.

Thanks for all the games I have played and lost, thanks for the laughs, the close-wins, the embarrassing rounds; thanks for the friendship.
